The UBC Radiology app is a free educational tool that aims to help medical trainees increase their confidence in identifying normal anatomic structures and ordering the most appropriate imaging test. The app is based on the radiology undergraduate curriculum at the University of British Columbia (UBC), which is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The UBC Radiology curriculum is designed for medical trainees to learn how to identify normal anatomy and identify common pathology. The curriculum consists of four years of preclinical and clinical studies, where the preclinical years focus on learning to identify anatomy and the clinical years focus on learning to identify and treat patients.
The app will help medical trainees learn how to read an image, identify a structure, and understand the importance of different imaging tests.
